Mark Ogden - Nowra – Australia

Still serving as a navy reserve Seahawk instructor pilot after 22 years active service, Mark also spent 7 years as an accident investigator, has lectured at university and consulted to many aviation companies providing safety management, occurrence investigation and management advice. Presently managing aviation services for an oil company in Papua New Guinea, Mark has also written instructional and operational manuals as well many articles for several magazines. He is the current editor for HeliOps , and HeliTac magazines.

Mike McKinney - Albuquerque - New Mexico

Mike grew up in Clearwater, Florida and has been fascinated with aviation since his early childhood. He attended Undergraduate Pilot Training, Helicopter at Fort Rucker, Alabama and earned his wings as a U.S. Air Force helicopter pilot in 1991. Mike is a Command Pilot with over 3000 hours in the UH-1N, MH-53J/M Pave Low, and CV-22 Osprey, a graduate of the USAF Weapons School, and holds Commercial-Instrument Helicopter and Private Pilot, Single Engine Airplane ratings from the FAA. His professional education includes a Bachelor of Arts from the University of South Florida and a Master of Science from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Mike has written several magazine articles and has co-authored one book, Chariots of the Damned, Helicopter Special Operations from Vietnam to Kosovo. Mike currently lives in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Aaron Fitzgerald - Los Angeles, California

Aaron is a commercial helicopter pilot based in Los Angeles. He has been working as pilot for 15 years in a variety of flying jobs. He was a news pilot and reporter for eight years in Los Angeles on CBS. Today Aaron owns and operates Airborne Images Incorporated, an aerial production company that provides aerial coordination, helicopters, camera systems and flight crews for motion pictures and television shows. In 2000, Aaron was awarded the Medal of Valor for rescuing the crew of a downed ENG helicopter as it burned on the ground. Prior to his flying career, Aaron was a Paratrooper in the United States Army with the 82nd Airborne Division.

Alan Norris - London - UK

Born in London, England, Alan trained as an engineer working for the British Government in Research and Development. He has been a freelance aviation journalist for over 30 years specializing in helicopter related journalism and photography. Alan was one of the founders of The Helicopter Museum, located in the South West of England, developing it in to the world’s largest dedicated helicopter museum. He was Restoration Manager for over ten years organizing the conservation and preservation of the collection. Alan is also involved in helicopter sport flying and is a Fédération Aéronautique Internationale registered judge.
