The Hungarian Defense Forces has taken delivery of their sixth pair of H225M Caracals, equipped with the HForce weapon management system, at the Szolnok based 86th Helicopter Wing.

This brings the total number of H225M Caracals in the Hungarian AF fleet to 12 as part of the contract signed in 2018 for 16 aircraft and a training and support package, with the aim of enhancing Hungary's defense capabilities and ensure interoperability with NATO.

“In the interest of the Hungarian people’s security, it is essential for us to develop our defence capabilities and procure modern equipment. The new, high-tech assets will strengthen the airlift, airdrop and special operations capabilities of the Hungarian Defence Forces.” Said Defence Minister Kristóf Szalay-Bobrovniczky.
