Heli-One and Ex-Change Parts have announced their collaboration aimed at selling four Super Puma AS332 M1 SAR helicopters on which they will work together to return to service.
The aircraft, which were previously operated by the Swedish Armed Forces, are currently in storage with Ex-Change Parts in Sweden and will undergo a Return to Service program with Heli-One in Norway which can be tailored to the buyer’s needs. The strategic alliance between the two organizations will provide customers with the option to reconfigure the aircraft with new mission equipment together with component overhaul services and the provision of a spare parts program as well as pilot and maintenance training, if required. Further services can also be provided to include engineering, logistics, and CAMO services. The strategic alliance between Heli-One and Ex-Change Parts also enables an option for Mid Life Upgrade including a total airframe update to enhance safety and capability as well as ensure future supportability.
“These Super Puma M1 helicopters are unique assets, given their factory-installed SAR equipment and comprehensive modification records,” says Rikard Jansson, CEO at Ex-Change Parts. “Our partnership with Heli-One ensures that the modifications and maintenance are executed to the highest standards of quality and safety.”
The collaboration between Ex-Change Parts and Heli-One is designed to offer customers a cost-effective, medium-sized, multi-role helicopter platform for military use.
