HeliSpeed has received approval by the UK-CAA to conduct Multi-Crew Cooperation training. This essential course trains pilots in teamwork, communication, and coordinated cockpit operations, skills that are vital for success within a multi-crew aircraft environment. Not only is this a key requirement for those pursuing an Air Transport Pilot License H, Multi-Crew Pilot License, or a type rating for multi-crew aircraft, but it’s also a critical step in advancing a pilot’s career.

MCC training is a foundational component in preparing pilots for the collaborative nature of commercial and complex cockpit operations. With HeliSpeed’s newly approved Bell 429 FNPT II MCC simulator, based at their Blackpool facility, pilots can now experience highly realistic scenarios in a safe, controlled environment, ensuring they are well-equipped for real-world multi-crew settings.

“MCC training is a fundamental step in a pilot’s journey towards obtaining advanced licensing for multi-crew aircraft operations,” said Capt. Steve Judd, HeliSpeed’s Bell 429 Chief Flying Instructor. “With this approval, HeliSpeed is proud to deliver comprehensive training solutions that support pilot safety, skill, and operational excellence.”

In compliance with Part-FCL 735 regulations in both the EU and UK, HeliSpeed’s MCC training program meets the rigorous standards necessary for effective multi-crew operation certification, ultimately helping to develop safer and more proficient pilots who are fully prepared for the demands of today’s aviation industry.
