AeroGulf Services have announced their partnership with ADA leasing in taking delivery of their first oil and gas configured AW139. This marks the beginning of the transition of one of the oldest operators in UAE to modernize their fleet that has pre dominantly been Bell 212 and Bell 206.

Established in Dubai in 1976, AeroGulf Services serves as a commercial helicopter operators and aviation maintenance facility. AeroGulf is the first commercial helicopter operator in Dubai, initially founded with the purpose of supporting Dubai Petroleum’s Oil and Gas operations in the Emirate of Dubai.

The Bell 212 will continue in the fleet for utility operations. The company has gone through very turbulent times recently and fleet modernization along with moving towards IOGP compliant operations for all their principal clients in the northern Emirates of UAE will set the company on a trajectory of growth and re-establish its position among the premier helicopter operators in the region.

The company has since expanded into a varied array of aviation services, such as external cargo, filming and medical emergency services. AeroGulf’s superior maintenance capabilities have also expanded to provide third-party services to commercial and government helicopter operators. The company is based at the new Dubai World Central (Al Maktoum) International Airport near Jebel Ali.
