The Cleveland Clinic Critical Care Transport program, which specializes in adult cardiac, neurologic, trauma, paediatric and neonatal care in Northeast Ohio, are adding three H145 D3 medical transport helicopters.

The first of the new critical transport helicopters has started flight operations with the second two aircraft due for delivery arriving before the end of 2025, replacing the existing fleet of Sikorsky S76 aircraft.

The aircraft, pilots and maintenance are provided by PHI Air Medical Services and two helicopters will be stationed at Burke Lakefront Airport and Wadsworth Municipal Airport, the third will serve as backup.
