Schweizer has announced U.S. Aviation Training Solutions of Titusville, Florida, has taken delivery of the first 300BCi helicopter in its 25
aircraft purchase agreement with Schweizer.
Shortly before the pandemic, USATS made a firm order for 20 Schweizer 300CBis with an option for five more as a part of the company’s fleet
modernization plan. The company has owned and operated Schweizer aircraft since 1987.
“From our perspective, the S300 is the premiere flight training helicopter on the market,” said Brian Craddock, managing director at USATS.
“Our new 300CBis have all the characteristics of this perfect trainer plus modern avionics, making it the ideal modern trainer.”
USATS is taking advantage of Schweizer’s unique aircraft trade in program. Through the program, Schweizer accepts older Schweizer
helicopters and applies the value toward a new helicopter. Schweizer then refurbishes the traded in aircraft, either completely overhauling
it to like-new condition or providing a factory refurbished aircraft based on the aircraft and the time left on components. These aircraft
are then made available for sale, offering other customers a lower price aircraft option backed by a factory warranty.
“We are pleased to begin delivery and help USATS completely refresh their popular fleet with the benefit of a discounted trade in price,”
said Schweizer President and CEO David Horton. “With the aircraft USATS trades in, Schweizer will be able to help more people purchase
overhauled or low time S300CBis at a budget friendly discount further expanding our fully supported fleet worldwide.”
